Coping with HIV/AIDS in the Rural South (Marvin
Swartz). The rural regions of the US are seeing among the fastest increases
in HIV/AIDS infection. Little is known about distinctive challenges of
and coping with HIV/AIDS in rural communities. This study examines patterns
of coping behaviors of individuals living with HIV/AIDs in the Rural South.
This project is funded by the National Institute of Mental Health. (2000-2005).
